Project Death

Project Death is a project that I had originally planned to come out this summer but all the issues with Astra Etherium stopped that from happening. You will probably still see a demo this summer, I’m hoping in July or early August after I can get Astra wrapped.

The project was started under another name due to it being something I concepted with someone else. The game was really more for her than myself at the time. We are both solo players and at the time there were a bunch of couch player games on OUYA so it’s like we would sit there and hear “this game is coming out” and the first thing one of us would say is “does it have single player?” Can you believe that in 2015 we would have to ask that? She was very involved in the concept so yeah, the game is more for her than myself but of course I plan to enjoy it and hope she does too. I just wish there weren’t so many delays with Astra Etherium but it is what it is.

The game will be something like a Gauntlet, Diablo, Torchlight, or something along those lines. There will be RPG style leveling, weapons, magic, pets and all that good stuff. There will be 8-10 characters to choose from, female and male with up to 4 players at the same time. Will be working on online multiplayer and offline. Horde mode which will be hordes of enemies coming at you or your team. Full campaign mode, obviously. I also want to add a team deathmatch where it’s teams of 4 or 5 and they have to bring treasure from one side of the map to the other.

The game will be cross platform all the way, there is no way I’m going to release something like this where you can’t even find people to play. All on one server or however many if the game gets popular but definitely not just one system where it’ll die off fast.

What else can I add here…I’m sure I’ll think of something.
